The Terracotta series explores the tiny fantastical creatures in my painting series, Pareidolia.
In the paintings, larger-than-life human figures are imposed upon a playground full of tiny fantastical creatures, speaking to the paradoxes of freedom and equality in an out-of-scale, absurd, surreal world.
The series was created at an artist-in-residence program, Kriti Gallery, in Varanasi, India.
